Carol Concerts
Get into the festive spirit with carols in the libraries
School choirs will be bringing Christmas cheer to Huyton and Stockbridge Village Libraries during December.
Pupils from local schools will be singing traditional carols on dates throughout the month which is guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit!
Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the carol singing, plus on Friday 9 December in Stockbridge Village Library and on Monday 19 December in Huyton Library there will be complimentary mince pies and drinks available throughout the day, adding to the Yuletide joy.
Hot drinks are always available in all of our libraries so pop in anytime to get warm.
Cllr Jayne Aston, Cabinet Member for Resources, said:
“I’m delighted we’re going to be hosting school choirs in our libraries as the countdown to Christmas gets underway. School children singing Christmas carols is always a highlight of the festive season. It’s so good to be able to revive this lovely tradition for the first time in two years following the pandemic.”
