Knowsley Library Service update

Prescot Library is now open for Browsing, Select and Collect service and PC access.

Browsing

The safety of customers and staff is paramount, so we will continue to ask that you wear a face covering if possible and that you still register at the desk for NHS Test and Trace purposes.

Things will look a bit different in branch as we are starting to return furniture back for customer use.

We’ll ask customers to issue / return their own loans through the self-service machines. Our friendly staff will be on hand to support anyone who needs help doing this.

Select and Collect Service

You will still be able to select (pre-order) books by phone, email or using the library online catalogue and the library staff will have your books ready to collect at a convenient time and date.

PC Access

PC access is available on all branches. You can either book an appointment or walk up to use a PC if any are available. For more information about this service please contact your branch on 0151 443 5101

Borrowing e-books

The library website and online catalogue are available to access online. You can use this site to borrow eBooks and eAudioBooks as normal.

If you are not already registered for this service, you can create an account by emailing your name, address and postcode to yourlibrary@knowsley.gov.uk.

Home Delivery

The home delivery service offers a range of books, including audio books and large print, and is being extended over lockdown to allow anyone who would like to borrow books to have them delivered.

Please email yourlibrary@knowsley.gov.uk or call 0151 443 3734 during opening times for more details.
