Knowsley Library Service update
From May 17th this branch is offering, Browsing, Select and Collect service and PC access.
The safety of customers and staff is paramount, and we’ll be limiting the number of people in branch at any one time, so you may be asked to wait outside if the building is at full capacity when you arrive.
When you enter the library, we’ll ask you to register at the desk for NHS Test and Trace purposes and face coverings must be worn unless you are exempt.
Things will look a bit different in branch as we’ve removed furniture or marked it as ‘out of use’ and social distancing will be required.
We’ll ask customers to issue their own loans through the self-service machines. Our friendly staff will be on hand to support anyone who needs help doing this.
Select and Collect Service
You will still be able to select (pre-order) books by phone, email or using the library online catalogue and the library staff will have your books ready to collect at a convenient time and date.
In addition to Select and Collect, customers will be able to book a session on the PCs. These will be time limited slots, bookable up to seven days in advance. For more information about this service please contact your branch on 0151 443 2501
The library website and online catalogue are available to access online. You can use this site to borrow eBooks and eAudioBooks as normal.
If you are not already registered for this service, you can create an account by emailing your name, address and postcode to email@example.com.
The home delivery service offers a range of books, including audio books and large print, and is being extended over lockdown to allow anyone who would like to borrow books to have them delivered.
