Don’t miss out on the chance to get a free tablet and get online!

Knowsley Council is supporting the Digital Inclusion Initiative (DII) – a pioneering programme between Lloyds Banking Group, Vodafone and partners such as Assurant.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is the first region to work in partnership with the DII to improve digital inclusion and skills of residents, enhance lives and stimulate economic growth.

Together, the DII is helping facilitate the rollout of over 4,500 free android tablets, Mi-Fi Mobile broadband devices, 6 months of mobile connectivity and in-person digital skills training.

Through this project, some of the key barriers to being online are being addressed, including a lack of devices, lack of connectivity and low digital skills.

In order to access the online bundle, residents must attend a 90 minute training session in Knowsley which will show you how to use the equipment and get the very best out of being online. By attending the training, you’ll receive:-

  • a free Lenovo M9 Android Tablet
  • 6 months of free vodafone connectivity with 40GB of data per month and free calls and texts
  • A free mobile-wifi hotspot device ‘Mi-Fi’ to create portable internet out-and-about and at home

Residents will be able to attend a training session in Huyton, Kirkby, Halewood, Prescot and Stockbridge Village.

Places are limited so don’t miss out!
