Family History Helpdesk

Tracing your family tree is not always easy. Want to know how best to start? Or perhaps you’ve already begun and you’ve hit a brick wall. Why not come along to one of our Family History Helpdesks? Delivered every month from all Knowsley libraries, Family History Helpdesks are an informal drop in session where our specialist staff are on hand to give you guidance and advice to help you with your research. Enquiries are dealt with on a first come first served basis, with no appointment necessary.

Digital Drop-In Sessions

Free and informal, with no booking required, no set number of weeks and no need to take an exam.  Each session is 2.5 hours. – just attend as many as you need.

Help for complete beginners, of any age, to build confidence, skills and knowledge using computers for a range of activities. These can include job search, property pool, setting up an email account, online form filling, welfare benefit claim and renewal forms, as well as accessing Universal Gateway, submitting job applications, uploading CVs, online security, the Knowsley App, social media and much more. Functional Skills English and Maths

These qualifications are intended for anyone wishing to develop their English and/or Mathematics skills and are designed to help learners gain the most out of work, education and everyday life.   They are accredited courses and are free to all learners.  Courses are 20 weeks at 2.5 hours per week.  Call FACE on 443 2067 or 07810 053971
